new agenda (even though I missed Thursday due to my daughter’s illness). Great job and thanks to all

Eligibility corrections and file maintenance will be accepted until September 1, 2006 for
those students who appeared on the notification list prior to April 19.

NEW FEDERAL ACADEMIC GRANTS INFORMATION
Elizabeth Burmaster, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, has called a meeting for next
Tuesday, May 16, to determine if Wisconsin will submit an alternative definition of a rigorous
secondary program of study, or affirm the four pre-approved options. I will get information out to
you Wednesday morning with the results of that meeting - and how it shakes out for your students.
FLAT FILE WILL BE ELIMINATED December 1, 2006
There are a few schools still receiving the FLAT FILE. Please be aware that we will no longer
produce that file after December 1, 2006.

HEAB conducts one-day training programs for new and continuing financial aid administrators. The
training session covers all aspects of the programs administered by HEAB, including:
The program begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends no later than 3:00 p.m. It is held at the HEAB
offices at 131 W. Wilson St, Suite 902, Madison, WI. We have room for up to 6 people at each
session.
